Life-an onion

walking along the path of life
and trying to understand it
finally i came to know
life was an empty nothing
the more i go on peeling it
i fail to find the kernel
like peeling the onion
and still go on peeling it
i go on searching the meanig of life
down the surface
and again i find myself
an empty nothing
and almost lose hope
the heart becomes heavy
filling life with tears
more attempts i make
for a vain search of kernel of the fruit of life
and i wonder and question myself if i can rise
above the destiny of a cheapest vegetable
…………………………the onion.
